Seller Consignment Policy
At Cityculturekicks, we provide a trusted platform for buying and selling authentic sneakers, footwear, apparel, and accessories. We operate solely as an independent resale and authentication platform and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any of the brands featured on our website. All trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners.
By consigning an item with Cityculturekicks, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Authentication
All consigned items must be delivered to Cityculturekicks for a mandatory authenticity inspection before listing.
Where necessary, additional authentication procedures may be carried out, which could extend the processing time.
2. Item Condition
Items must be clean, authentic, and in sellable condition.
Cityculturekicks reserves the right to reject any item that does not meet our quality standards or to charge reasonable cleaning or restoration fees where applicable.
3. Pricing & Commission
After authentication, Cityculturekicks will recommend a selling price based on current market demand and product condition.
The final listing price and commission structure will be mutually agreed upon before the item is listed.
If market conditions require a price adjustment, we will notify the seller. If no response is received within 72 hours, Cityculturekicks reserves the right to adjust the listing price to improve the likelihood of a successful sale.
4. Listing & Exclusivity
Approved items are generally listed within 7–14 business days.
While an item is on consignment with Cityculturekicks, it must not be listed or sold through any other marketplace or sales channel without our prior written consent.
5. Storage & Withdrawal
Consigned items must remain with Cityculturekicks for a minimum period of 30 days.
After this period, sellers may request the return of their item by arranging collection or paying the applicable return shipping charges.
Requests to withdraw an item before the minimum consignment period may incur an early withdrawal fee of ₹1,999.
Although we take reasonable care in storing all inventory, Cityculturekicks is not responsible for normal ageing, material deterioration, or manufacturer-related defects.
6. Failed Authentication
If an item does not pass our authenticity inspection, a ₹2,000 authentication and return handling fee will apply.
If the fee remains unpaid for 30 days, Cityculturekicks reserves the right to dispose of the item in accordance with applicable law.
7. Marketing Rights
By consigning your item, you authorize Cityculturekicks to photograph, film, advertise, and promote the product across our website, social media platforms, marketing campaigns, and other promotional channels.
8. Price Revisions
Market prices may fluctuate over time.
Cityculturekicks may recommend or implement reasonable pricing adjustments based on market demand, buyer interest, and current resale trends. If the seller does not respond to repeated pricing communications, we may revise the selling price within reasonable market limits to facilitate a sale.
9. Unsold Items
Cityculturekicks does not guarantee the sale of any consigned item.
If an item remains unsold for an extended period, we may recommend a revised price or discuss withdrawal of the item with the seller.
10. Seller Payment
Once the item is successfully sold, the agreed commission and any applicable charges will be deducted.
The remaining balance will be paid to the seller via bank transfer or another mutually agreed payment method within 1–3 weeks of the completed sale.
11. Buyer Claims
If a buyer raises a post-sale authenticity or product-related concern, the seller agrees to cooperate with any additional verification process required to resolve the matter.
12. Communication
Cityculturekicks will keep sellers informed regarding authentication results, listing status, pricing recommendations, offers received, and completed sales through email, phone, or other available communication channels.
13. Unclaimed Inventory
If a seller fails to collect an unsold item or respond to repeated communications for 90 days after notification, Cityculturekicks reserves the right to dispose of, liquidate, or otherwise manage the item without further notice. Any applicable storage, handling, or administrative charges may also apply.
